HOW WE STARTED
Harvest Food Ministry was began after Pastor Mike Wells discovered a, then, 63 year old time capsule, filled with the word of God, hidden in the walls of Holliday Assembly of God Church. Working through the word of God, Holliday Assembly of God Church joined with all the churches of Holliday, Texas, to make Harvest Food Ministry a reality.
Harvest Food Ministry began in a small closet at Holliday Assembly of God Church in 2010. A mere 32 boards were donated and used to build the shelves necessary to store the food that is distributed to those in need each month.
With lots of answered prayers, miracles began to take place and through the hand of God those 32 boards have since been replaced by a 3200 sq. ft. building next door to the church that is now home to
Harvest Food Ministry.
